Aberlour Casg Annamh is a small-batch Speyside single malt whose name translates to “rare cask” in Gaelic. It was created as an approachable introduction to Aberlour’s sherry-cask-matured style, sitting between the distillery’s standard Double Cask expressions and the more powerful, cask-strength A’Bunadh.
The whisky is produced from a limited selection of casks, with Spanish oak Oloroso sherry butts providing its rich fruit, sweetness, spice, and nutty character. American oak contributes additional vanilla, caramel, and fresh fruit. Casg Annamh carries no age statement and is released in individually numbered batches at 48% ABV without chill filtration.
