Akashi Single Malt – Heavily Peated Edition is a robust Japanese single malt produced by Eigashima Shuzo at the coastal Eigashima Distillery in Akashi, Hyōgo Prefecture. Made entirely from malted barley peated to approximately 50 ppm, the whisky is matured for more than three years in selected first-fill American bourbon barrels. Bottled at 100 proof, it combines pronounced smoke with malted caramel sweetness, sea salt and a dry, lingering finish.
