About Akashi Meïsei Deluxe

Akashi Meïseï Deluxe is a high-strength blended whisky produced by Eigashima Shuzo at the Eigashima Distillery in Akashi, Japan. It is composed of approximately 50% malt whisky and 50% grain whisky, giving it a slightly richer malt content than the standard Akashi Meïseï blend. The whisky is initially matured in American oak barrels and then finished for one year in sherry casks. Bottled at 100 proof, it combines honey, vanilla and chocolate sweetness with dried fruit, warm spices, nuts and a long sherry-influenced finish.
